Tagging users on Instagram helps to get higher reach thus higher engagement. With Planly, you can tag users
Before explaining how to tag users on Instagram, here are few things you can need to remember:
- You can tag users only on single photo or album posts. Tagging users on video posts is not supported by Instagram.
- Only public profiles can be tagged due to Instagram limitations. If you tag a private account in a post, the tag will not appear once the post is published.
- Due to Instagram limitations, Planly can't autocomplete or spellcheck usernames. Please make sure you enter the correct username before saving.
- You can tag up to 20 users per post.

How do you tag users on Instagram with Planly?
1. On the Planly calendar, click on the New Schedule or + icon on your calendar, like you usually do
2. Click on the Tag people icon on the media
3. Click anywhere on the image to choose the spot of the user tag
4. Enter the username on the Instagram user input and click the + (plus) icon.
5. Click the Done button once you are done with tagging users. You can always go back and tag more users. Keep in mind that private Instagram users cannot be tagged.
