Posts are counted toward when you schedule them. Instagram stories and reels also count toward post schedule limit.
When you enable the share on story button on an Instagram post it won't count in your post schedule limit.
Your limit is defined by the number of posts you scheduled + published this month, not the media files you upload.
Posts are not counted when you upload media files.
For example, in the Starter plan, you have 50 post schedule limit. Your post limit for the current month. If you schedule 32 posts this month + publish 18 posts this month before the end of your billing period, you reached your post schedule limit for this month.
