Social channels are your social media profiles and business pages you connect to your Planly account. We let you add multiple social profiles and pages to Planly. You can add, remove, or switch social channels within Teams.
Post is a media that is scheduled for a social channel or multiple social channels.
Teams help you easily manage your social channels along with the verified users you add. Each Team has its own Media Library so that you don’t have to share your media with all Teams or users.
Planly extension is a browser extension method that you choose to connect your social channels to Planly. Due to its ease of use we recommend users choose the extension method over email. With the email method, you need to give the related email you registered your social channel. But you are free to choose
User is the one that has access to Teams. Users can upload media, schedule, and edit posts. Only account owners can add users to Teams, depending on the plan they are subscribed to.
Account owner is the owner of the account on Planly. They have the access to Billing and other account details, can add users to Teams, and add or remove social channels.
Media library is a digital store to store, organize, and manages media in a single place. You can upload media from your desktop device or import it from Google Drive. With the help of filters, media notes, and labels, you can easily organize and find media for search and scheduling. Uploaded media in the library is shared within the Team they are in.
Media is photos, videos, and GIFs that you can upload and schedule to visual platforms (TikTok and Instagram).
Labels are tags or keywords that you can add to organize and easily find your media within teams. You can add multiple labels to a single media file. Labels also make media easily searchable during the scheduling.
Media notes are messages that you attach to individual media. You can use notes while uploading media and then edit, copy, and paste anytime you want.
Description is a message that you add to a post while scheduling. You can edit your post description anytime until it is published.
Filter helps you to limit your search for specific criteria to make the search process easier and faster. Planly lets you filter media by their labels, status, and also the user uploaded the media.
Stars help you bookmark your fav media in the Media Library. You can use stars to easily search for files while scheduling a post or looking for its publish status.
Status shows the state of a scheduled media file in relation on Planly. Schedules can be in the draft, published, or scheduled status.
Draft is a schedule status of a media file that is uploaded, added description, but not scheduled for a set time in the calendar. You can view the draft media in Calendar > Draft tabs, in the list of Calendar > Drafts tab, and directly in the calendar view. The draft posts are not included to your scheduling limit.
Scheduled is a post status when a media file is scheduled for a specified date and time to specified social channels. You can edit the time and description of a scheduled post. Once a post is scheduled you can no longer change the social channels you set before.
Published. A scheduled post is called published once it is shared from Planly to the set social channel. If a post is seen as published it can no longer be edited or deleted from the calendar. Even if you delete a post that was scheduled from Planly, it will be still visible in your Team calendar.
Post schedule limit is the maximum number of posts you are allowed to schedule per social channel during a billing period. Your limit is defined by the number of posts you scheduled + published this month, not the media you upload.
Calendar is an interactive calendar that you can schedule your posts via drag and dropping from desktop, Media Library, uploading from desktop, and importing from Google Drive. It also acts as a social media calendar where you can view your scheduled and published posts, and draft media. You can set the calendar to weekly or monthly views.
You can set a temporary time zone for your Team calendar. Once the page is refreshed, you will go back to the default time zone you set in the Settings.
