Bulk scheduling with Planly allows you to save time by uploading multiple posts at once using a CSV file. Here's how you can do it:

Steps to Bulk Schedule Using a CSV File:

  1. Access the Bulk Scheduling Tool:

    • Click the New button on the dashboard and select Upload CSV from the dropdown menu.

  2. Download the CSV Template:

    • Before proceeding, download the example CSV template. This template will help you structure your data correctly for import.

  3. Update the Template:

    • Open the downloaded CSV file and fill in the required fields, such as post content, scheduling time, and any specific details for each post.

  4. Select Channels:

    • Choose the social media channels you want to schedule posts for from the provided list.

  5. Set Post Status:

    • Select the post status during import:

      • Scheduled: To publish posts automatically at the specified times.

      • Draft: To review and finalize posts later.

  6. Upload the CSV File:

    • Once your CSV is updated, click Import and upload the file.

  7. Verify and Confirm:

    • Review the uploaded data for accuracy and confirm the import.

Tips for Using the CSV Template:

  • Match the Format: Ensure all fields in the CSV match the required format (e.g., date, time, captions, and media links).

  • Time Zone Check: Double-check your time zone settings in the Planly account to ensure posts are scheduled for the correct times.

  • Avoid Errors: Do not leave blank rows or fields in the CSV file, as this may cause errors during the upload process.

  • Check Media URLs: Make sure your media URLs are valid and accessible. If using Google Drive or Dropbox, ensure the links have proper sharing permissions.
