Troubleshooting Instagram and Facebook Connections

Having trouble connecting Instagram or Facebook to Planly? Here are some common issues and solutions:

  1. Ensure Business Account Setup:

    • Instagram must be a Business or Creator account to connect to Planly.

    • Facebook pages must have appropriate admin permissions.

  2. Refresh Permissions:

    • Go to Facebook Settings > Business Integrations.

    • Remove Planly and reconnect it via the + button or Channels in Settings.

  3. Log Out and Back In:

    • Log out from both Instagram and Facebook, clear your browser cache, and log back in before reconnecting.

How to Convert an Instagram Account to a Business Account?

  1. Open the Instagram app and go to Settings > Account > Switch to Professional Account.

  2. Choose Business and follow the prompts to set up your business profile.

  3. Link the account to a Facebook Page during the setup.

  4. Return to Planly and connect your Business account.
